Student Employment On-boarding & Department Orientation

If you have never worked on campus before you must complete your onboarding requirements with Student Employment and Payroll Services in the TCNJ Human Resources Department. This process includes the following:

Offer letter from the Student Employment Department in Human Resources.

Requested completion of your I-9 paperwork and background check through Stirling Solutions.

You will need your original social security card and a picture ID (drivers license or Passport) for this process.

Requested confirmation that you review and agree to all position expectations and employee agreements (EEO, FERPA, etc.).

The Department of Residential Education & Housing requires all employees to participate in an annual on-boarding and training process, for all new and returning employees. This includes:

Signing an employment agreement form at the start of employment.

Attend the annual DA employee training date (released at the start of each semester).

Please note for the Spring 2021 semester, a recorded zoom training is available and mandatory for review. Posted in our Online Training Tab.

Attend at meet and greet with the Student Manager of Residential Operations and your fellow DA coworkers.

Increase efficiency and customer service in the Area Office; Answer questions about unclear policies and procedures; Identify each other and be comfortable with each other so as issues arise you know who can assist you.
